A children's fiction programme, 'Misha' is someone that every child would dream of.

Misha is the story of Atharva, an 8-year-old boy, who loves science fiction; who is bright, but a loner.

His father Vijay, a musician and mother Puja is a cashier in a bank. Atharva lives with his parents; his grandparents live in the house next to theirs, and Atharva being their only grandson is extremely pampered by them.

Atharva, being the loner kind does not have too many friends in school or otherwise. His parents too are unable to give enough time to their child. Instead, they are always busy in petty squabbles about petty things in the house. Atharva, a regular witness to these fights is bored with his life, and seeks the company of someone close.

Atharva's life takes a pleasant turn in the form of 'Misha'

'Misha' an alien is lost. His companions 'He-Ha-Hoo' from the 'other world' are extremely tensed about his whereabouts, as they do not want him to enter 'Earth'.

On Atharva's birthday, his parents arrange a party for him. All his friends are invited. Misha accidentally enters the party, but is mistaken for a toy from the many toys that Atharva receives on that day.

As days unfold, Atharva realizes that 'this toy' can actually talk like him. 'Misha' becomes Atharva's closest friend. But this friend has a unique quality. He can talk and interact only with Atharva and nobody else. Hence, nobody from Atharva's family believes him when he tries to tell them about Misha.

Misha becomes an integral part of Atharva's life! He helps Atharva through all his problems, makes his life better and much more fun. But, Misha too has a principle! He does not help Atharva in his studies. Also, he does not pamper Atharva with all the toys and luxuries that Atharva asks for.

All Misha does is instills a self-confidence in Atharva. He helps Atharva become the boy he never was. Atharva becomes friendlier, extrovert, obedient and a son every parent would ask for.

The real hero of 'Misha' is Atharva. Misha just accompanies him. This story would make every child dream and want a companion as lovable and helpful as Misha.
