Ya Sukhano Ya, a story of joint family, simple and middle class at heart.

The elder brother is - Dada Adhikari head of the family, who believes in family values than money . He has opted for VRS as he has special interest in astrology.

This family is held together by Sarita -wife of second brother, Abhay. Abhay, a doctor by profession, is attached with local government hospital. He always believes that he is in a profession to serve the people than to mint the money. They have two beautiful & lovable daughters - Samara & Swanandi. Their mother, Sarita, is typical housewife, with her strong belief in purity of relationships & values.

Mayuresh, the youngest of the brother"s, is a young engineering graduate. He is working with BMC as an assistant engineer.

But their simplicity & homeliness lasts till the youngest sister-in -law Kasturi , enters this house. A young new generation girl all attracted towards materialistic things in life. and her dream is to marry a rich boy so as to live a lavishing life. But as they say the love is blind, Mayuresh tricks her into marrying him.

Deepika is their sister married to Ankush. Ankush is typical male chauvinist. for him a women territory is only house and she should go outside for work.

Devayani feels shattered as she realizes Mayuresh belongs to a typical middle class family. Kasturi with her built in sense and practical thinking accepts reality and settles in family. But with entry of Timiha Sarangadhar, as her neighbor, Kasturi"s way to look at things changes drastically.A couple - Timiha and Rajneesh Sarangdhar -, which looks ideal, happy & glamorous, but in reality leads a loveless life.But Kasturi is attracted their flashy lifestyle, completely ignoring the value of relationship.

She also lures Sarita into it.Both sisters - in - law start craving for glossy, material trappings, as they get exposed to a new glamorous lifestyle.They push their respective husbands to extreme ends to achieve this.

The strong bond of togetherness that holds family starts disintegrating.What is the parameter of happiness ? Should we always equate glamour, gloss, richness with inner peace ? Does love, bonding and relationship and family values have any existence in today"s world ?
